El desarrollo de análogos cárnicos hechos 100% a base de plantas, nuevos ingredientes provenientes de subproductos agroindustriales o el pilotaje y escalamiento de snacks en base a alimentos patrimoniales, son el tipo de proyectos con los que empresas y emprendimientos de la industria de alimentos y bebidas pueden postular al nuevo llamado a concurso Crea y Valida junto a CeTA Alimentos.
El pasado 2 de febrero Corfo abrió las postulaciones a dos de estos instrumentos:
- Crea y Valida I+D+i Reactívate: para el desarrollo de nuevos o mejorados productos, procesos y/o servicios de base tecnológica, a partir de prototipos, hasta su validación técnica a escala industrial y comercial que solucionen problemas y/o desafíos del sector productivo o aborden una oportunidad de mercado, a través de investigación y desarrollo (I+D+i).
Cierre: 6 de abril a las 13.00 hrs - Crea y Valida Rápida implementación: para empresas lideradas por mujeres, que cuenten con un negocio de alto potencial de crecimiento, con una solución innovadora y con ventas iniciales. Cofinancia actividades que permitirán hacer crecer y despegar tu negocio, junto con servicios de apoyo para ayudar a implementarlo.
Cierre: 7 de abril a las 13.00 hrs
Como centro de I+D+i registrado por Corfo, CeTA Alimentos cuenta con los profesionales y la tecnología para apoyar a empresas grandes, medianas, pequeñas, start-ups y emprendedores que quieran postular al cofinanciamiento de cualquiera de estos fondos.
Apoyo en la propuesta
“Las empresas interesadas en postular a Crea y Valida nos pueden contratar o subcontratar como entidad colaboradora para realizar desarrollos, pruebas, testeo de productos, prototipado y pilotaje, incluyendo desde el prototipo a la etapa final de comercialización o solo alguna de las etapas, trabajando en colaboración con otros centros”, explica María José Bustos, gerente de Negocios de CeTA.
CeTA cuenta con tres Centros de Innovación en las zonas Norte, Centro y Sur del país, que ofrecen una serie de tecnologías y servicios para el diseño, prototipado, pilotaje y escalamiento semiindustrial de alimentos y bebidas, incluyendo el diseño de packaging (ver recuadro).
La ejecutiva señala que para el proceso de postulación CeTA pone a disposición de los postulantes “un equipo técnico con experiencia en el desarrollo de proyectos, de manera de presentar una propuesta que cumpla con los requisitos y elementos que aumentan las posibilidades de adjudicación”
En el caso de Crea y Valida I+D+i Reactívate, el cofinanciamiento de Corfo es de hasta 80% del costo total del proyecto. Lo que puede llegar hasta $100.000.000 para un Proyecto de I+D+i empresarial y hasta $120.000.000 para un Proyecto de I+D+i colaborativo.
Para los Crea y Valida Rápida Implementación el tope de financiamiento de InnovaChile de Corfo es también 80% del costo total, con un tope de hasta $30.000.000.

Centros de Innovación en Santiago, Temuco y Coquimbo
CeTA cuenta con tres Centros de Innovación disponibles para facilitar el trabajo de empresas de bebidas y alimentos de todo el país. Las siguientes son sus principales líneas de procesos:
Zona Centro (Laguna Carén, Pudahuel)
- Salsas: desarrollo de productos semilíquidos o de viscosidad media a partir de materias primas hortofrutícolas y/o pecuarias.
- Aceites: extracción y estabilización de aceites de materias primas y subproductos de la cadena agroindustrial.
- Snacks extruidos: desarrollo de nuevos productos tipo snacks, como cereales para el desayuno y soufflés, entre otros.
- Aislados proteicos: nuevas alternativas de aislados proteicos para desarrollo de nuevos productos, siguiendo tendencias plant-based.
- Ingredientes/colorantes: desarrollo de ingredientes y aditivos.
- Fermentados: procesos de fermentación para desarrollo de nuevos productos simbióticos (prebióticos, probióticos).
Zona Sur (Temuco)
- Tratamiento de materias primas: extracción de aceites, producción de jugos y deshidratados; formulaciones a partir de cereales, hierbas medicinales, frutas, berries y hortalizas.
- Prototipado deformulaciones, productos y empaques
- Pilotaje: producciones a pequeña escala
- Producción semiindustrial:producción comercializablede alimentos
- Miniplanta cervecera: para prototipado y pilotaje
Envases y embalajes: packaging y smart packaging
Zona Norte (Coquimbo)
- Conservas marinas en frascos y lata: elaboración de productos en conserva con materias primas de origen marino, ya sea pescados y mariscos.
- Pastas untables: desarrollo de pastas listas a base de productos de origen marino, como moluscos y bivalvos, para el consumo sobre pan, galletas o similares.
- Embutidos y hamburguesas: elaboración a partir de materias primas cárnicas y plant-based.
