Más de 150 emprendedores asistieron al encuentro para la innovación en alimentos

Los acuerdos buscan acrecentar la cooperación científica y técnica entre ambas entidades, en miras a la transformación de materias primas, agregación de valor a los productos agropecuarios, en vías de convertir a Chile en potencia alimentaria a nivel mundial.
En presencia de autoridades de la Facultad de Ciencias Agronómicas de la Universidad de Chile y CeTA, se realizó la firma del acuerdo de cooperación entre ambas instituciones. El acto tuvo lugar en la Sala Prof. Fusa Sudzuki de dicha unidad académica. En la ceremonia de firma de convenio estuvieron presentes, además de las máximas autoridades de ambas instituciones, el Prof. Juan Aguirre, Coordinador Grupo Extrusión; el Prof. Jurij Wacyk, SubCoordinador Grupo Extrusión; el Sr. Jean Paul Veas, Director Ejecutivo CeTA; y el Sr. Nicolás Swiderski, Gerente General Clextral Chile.
En la oportunidad, se firmó el Convenio de Cooperación y Modelo de Negocio entre la Facultad de Ciencias Agronómicas de la Universidad de Chile, Clextralgroup S.A. y Centro Tecnológico en Innovación para la Industria. Así como se procedió a la firma del Convenio de Cooperación institucional entre esta Facultad, CeTA y el Centro Tecnológico en Innovación para la Industria.
Los acuerdos tienen por objetivo unir esfuerzos para acrecentar la cooperación científica y técnica entre ambas entidades, en miras de fortalecer las redes de colaboración que favorezcan y faciliten la transformación de materias primas para un Chile que sea potencia agroalimentaria a nivel mundial. Al respecto el Decano Roberto Neira destacó la importancia para la Universidad de chile y para la Facultad de Ciencias Agronómicas los convenios de trabajo colaborativo firmados, ya que permitirán a la Facultad un quehacer muy vinculados a áreas de desarrollo productivo del país.
En tanto, Jaime Bellolio, señaló que “me parece fundamental trabajar con la Facultad de Ciencias Agronómicas , ambas instituciones coinciden plenamente en apoyar a los pequeños emprendedores y pequeños productores que no tienen la capacidad y la posibilidad solos de probar y hacer pilotaje de sus productos, siendo esta alternativa un herramienta clave para ello. Además el interés de poder incorporar a los académicos es muy relevante porque esto no funciona con las buenas intenciones, y aquí veo un espíritu de que las cosas se hagan bien”.
Durante la ceremonia, que fue dirigida por el Prof. Juan Aguire, expusieron el Prof. Jurij Wacyk, como representante del Grupo Extrusión; Jean Paul Veas, de CeTA; y Nicolás Swiderski, de Clextral Chile.
En su presentación el Prof. Jurij Wacyk dio a conocer el Grupo Extrusión de la Universidad de Chile, cuyo objetivo es la producción, conservación y procesamiento de alimentos de origen animal y vegetal que incorpora investigadores de los Departamentos Producción Agrícola, Agroindustria y Enología, y Producción Animal de la Facultad de Ciencias Agronómicas.
En tanto, Jean Paul Veas, director ejecutivo de CeTA, expuso sobre la conformación de una Red de Pilotaje para alimentos a nivel nacional, que permitirá agilizar la innovación en el sector.
Por último, Sr. Nicolás Swiderski de Clextral Chile, una empresa francesa fundada en 1956, expuso sobre el quehacer de esta compañía y sus alcances en Latinoamérica. Clextral es pionera en la fabricación de extrusoras de doble tornillo de rotación conjunta para las industrias de plásticos y químicos. Durante los últimos años, a medida que una producción industrial más responsable se ha convertido en una prioridad en todo el mundo, se han mantenido a la vanguardia de los procesos de fabricación responsable y sostenible y la I+D, estando presente en 13 países en los cinco continentes.
