CeTA y Taco Alto iniciaron talleres que impulsarán proyectos de 60 emprendedores de Río Hurtado, Illapel y Vicuña
Agosto 2, 2023Hace algunas semanas tuvimos la visita del equipo de R&D de Cargill en nuestra Planta de Laguna Carén. En la visita, los líderes nacionales e internacionales de la compañía pudieron conocer las instalaciones de CeTA, el equipo tecnológico y profesional con los que contamos y con los cuales se están realizando las pruebas de la empresa para dieta de peces que luego serán implementados en a mayor escala en el Cargill Innovation Center.
La visita buscaba afianzar la relación entre CeTA y Cargill y que los líderes de desarrollo de la compañía pudiesen conocer más de las capacidades con que cuenta CeTA para apoyar sus labores experimentales para crear y mejorar la alimentación de peces, promoviendo mejoras en la su producción en Chile.
Desde la Compañía destacaron que la visita fue muy útil en el sentido técnico, profesional y humano, destacando especialmente la flexibilidad y adaptabilidad de los equipos de CeTA:
El Viernes 16 de junio, Megan Hobbs, CQN Group R&D Leader, Alberto Jiménez, R&D Operation Manager Chile y Christopher Hawes, Scientist, fueron recibidos en la Planta de CeTa en la Región metropolitana por el Director Ejecutivo del Centro, Jean Paul Veas, la Gerenta de negocios, Daniela Fuentes y el Coordinador de Operaciones de Carén, Alex Cabrera.
“Fue una vista para consolidar confianzas donde quedamos muy satisfechos de el nivel de la planta piloto y de los equipos y servicios del Ceta, tanto en su tecnología y equipamiento como en el nivel técnico para la producción del alimento y de su equipo humano (…) Un punto para destacar es la buena recepción y flexibilidad que el equipo del CETA han tenido frente a nuestros requerimientos, hemos trabajado en conjunto para desarrollar nuevas metodologías e implementar nuevos equipos permitiendo una mejora continua en el tiempo”, señaló Alberto Jiménez, R&D Operation Manager Chile.
Cargill está desarrollando dietas para alimentación de peces en la planta de Laguna Carén, las que han sido de alta calidad, pudiendo “hacer estudios confiables y de baja variabilidad, logrando muy buenos resultados para Cargill Chile, Cargill Aqua Nutrition y nuestros clientes”, afirmó Jiménez.
El trabajo de Cargill en CeTA ha sido destacado por su estandarización, experiencia técnica, tecnología de equipos, reducción de las desviaciones, agilidad en los cambios equipo técnico humano y rápida respuesta a nuestras solicitudes. Ello ha permitido a la compañía reducir la variabilidad de las dietas, pudiendo repetir los ensayos en el tiempo, reduciendo las variables ajenas a dichos procesos.
“Esto nos da una alta certeza en los resultados de nuestros ensayos permitiendo entregar datos confiables a nuestros científicos que posteriormente se convierten en nuevas soluciones para nuestros clientes y para la industria acuícola nacional y global”, señalaron desde la empresa.
