Zona norte. Trabajo colaborativo entre actores del ecosistema productivo e incorporación de valor agregado a la producción, resultan claves para la apertura de oportunidades en mercados con requerimientos cada vez más sofisticados.
Coquimbo y Atacama, noviembre de 2020.- Uno de los pilares clave para el proceso innovador es generar alianzas y redes entre quienes buscan impulsar el sector silvoagropecuario y la cadena de valor asociada. Es por esta razón que la Fundación para la Innovación Agraria (FIA) y el Centro Tecnológico para la Innovación Alimentaria (CeTA) se unieron para realizar un webinar informativo – dirigido a jóvenes de entre 18 y 35 años – sobre los servicios que ofrecen ambas instituciones al ecosistema estudiantil.
En la actividad, que se desarrolló el pasado martes 24 de noviembre, los asistentes escucharon la exposición de la representante de FIA en las regiones de Atacama y Coquimbo, Wanda García y la Jefa de Innovación Zona Norte de CeTA, Lorena Pacheco.
“Este primer webinar con CeTA surge en el marco de un plan de alianzas, impulsado por el servicio de Redes de FIA, para las regiones de Atacama y Coquimbo. En el proceso de modernización de la Fundación nos hemos dado cuenta que la vinculación, la cooperación y el trabajo conjunto con diferentes actores del ecosistema de emprendimiento e innovación vinculados al sector agrícola, pecuario, forestal y/o la cadena agroalimentaria asociada es relevante, ya que así se puede dar a conocer una oferta de valor, informando a los jóvenes nuestro quehacer e incentivándolos a que vean al sector como una oportunidad de desarrollo”, dijo la representante de FIA en las regiones de Coquimbo y Atacama, Wanda García.
En el espacio, además García expuso los cuatro servicios que ofrece la Fundación: Incentivo Financiero, Redes, Información y Capacitación.
Además, las y los asistentes pudieron conocer dos casos de éxito de jóvenes innovadores: el primero, es Efecto Manada, un hub chileno que consolidó un modelo de negocios de servicio de control de malezas, fertilización y cosecha de aguas lluvia en el suelo basado en el pastoreo planificado. El segundo, se trata de Capifoods, un cereal de legumbres amigable con el medioambiente producido con materias primas de campos chilenos.
En tanto, Lorena Pacheco, jefa del Centro de Innovación Norte de CeTA, destacó la importancia que tiene la incorporación de tecnología e innovación a las iniciativas de los emprendedores para dar valor agregado a su oferta, factor decisivo para la apertura de nuevos mercados. “Chile siempre ha tenido una base agrícola sólida, hay materia prima importante, pero la urgencia se encuentra hoy en potenciar la oferta a través del uso de la investigación y desarrollo en las distintas etapas de la producción. Hoy, las demandas de los consumidores son más sofisticadas, para diferenciarse y abrir oportunidades se requiere dar respuesta a esa realidad. Si conseguimos incorporar esa variable, en especial en los emprendedores más jóvenes, resolveremos gran parte de la ecuación”.
